The Boscombe Easter Convention is a massive
event that occurs on Easter weekend every year at Boscombe Salvation
Army. This event spans the whole Easter weekend at the conclusion of
Holy Week. The event features guest speakers/leaders, guest musical
sections/groups from other UK based Salvation Army centre's or even
international musical groups. 2007 saw the visit of General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton together with the Enfield Salvation Army Band (London). As always, the General was succinct and articulate in his language and delivered the kind of message that outlined exactly where he thinks the Army should be heading, full of purpose with God at the centre.
2008 - Chief of Staff Commissioner Robin Dunster and Boscombe Corps senior musical sections. Saturday night concert by Festival Brass, Boscombe Songsters and Sheona White (tenor horn). |
