The Boscombe Easter Convention is a massive event that occurs on Easter weekend every year at Boscombe Salvation Army. This event spans the whole Easter weekend at the conclusion of Holy Week. The event features guest speakers/leaders, guest musical sections/groups from other UK based Salvation Army centre's or even international musical groups.

In 2005, the convention was led by Southern Englands Divisional Commanders Majors Ian and Christine Barr. Also featured were dramatist Keith Turton (from UK Territorial HQ) and Cardiff Canton SA Band. Pictures from the open-air meeting held in 2005 are available by clicking here.

The 2006 Easter Convention was held from 14th-16th April 2006 and featured Commissioners Phil and Keitha Needham (USA) and Pasadena Tabernacle Songsters (California, USA). Pasadena were concluding their two week UK tour at Boscombe. Good Friday meetings were led by Commissioners Phil & Keitha Needham. Saturday festivals by P.T.S. at both 2.00pm and 7.00pm were excellently presented and pictures from the evening festival can be seen by clicking here. Sunday meetings with P.T.S. and Boscombe's own musical sections (YP and senior) were both God-filled and enjoyable.

2007 saw the visit of General Shaw Clifton and Commissioner Helen Clifton together with the Enfield Salvation Army Band (London). As always, the General was succinct and articulate in his language and delivered the kind of message that outlined exactly where he thinks the Army should be heading, full of purpose with God at the centre.

2008 - Chief of Staff Commissioner Robin Dunster and Boscombe Corps senior musical sections. Saturday night concert by Festival Brass, Boscombe Songsters and Sheona White (tenor horn).
