A Night to Remember

An eventful
Sunday at Boscombe SA
Before the morning meeting the Sunday
School all had breakfast together. In the morning Charis Cochrane
was made a 'Salvation Soldier' and wore her uniform for the first
time. In the evening Majors Swanbury who are serving in Liberia
brought a presentation about the Salvation Army's work in that country.

Harvest Sunday
at Boscombe Salvation Army
The Harvest display is created from
donations of food for distribution to those in need in the local
area. Also included were donations of pencils and paper to be sent
out to Liberia to aid the Salvation Army's work in that country.
The collection in the morning and evening were also to aid the financing
of this work.

Fifty voices and friends concert in Aid of Julia's House
Boscombe Songsters and guests presented
a special charity concert based on the musicals. The concert raised
over £2,000 on the night and also featured items from Boscombe
Songsters Timbrels and special guests Billy Cook (Oliver) and Mark
Houston (The Artful Dodger).
