This was followed by an afternoon rehearsal with former Bandmasters and Boscombe Band members. The evening concert was in two halves, the first featuring the present Boscombe Band and the second including former bandmasters and members as part of a massed band. A popular event that is always well attended, an offering taken up during the service was split between the work of the Salvation Army and the Mission to Seafarers. The programme was based on what the band had been performing whilst on tour - with the addition of solos from Les (Tuba).
