The Festival of Remembrance, better known as 'A Night to Remember' is changing venue in 2007 and returning to The Albert Orsborn Memorial Halls, Boscombe Salvation Army, 76 Palmerston Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth BH1 4HT. The evening takes place on the Sunday 4th November. This year the focus is on the 25th Anniversary of the Falklands conflict and will feature special guests, including the Mayors of both Bournemouth and Christchurch and a former govenor of the Falkland Islands.

The evening features guest soloists and the Corps musical sections of Boscombe Salvation Army. The pictures featured here are of 'A Night to Remember 2004' which included Lucy Rhodes (BBC Radio Choir Girl of the Year 2002), The Royal Marine Drummers (H.M. School of Music, Portsmouth) and Salvacosta.

The evening consists of two halves, the first featuring items by the various participants. The second half being dedicated as an act of remembrance including 'The Last Post' and 'Reveille'.

In 2005 the evening featured the Boscombe SA musical sections together with guest participants: Tamsin Launn, Darren Bartlett and the Royal Marines Corps of Drums (HMS Nelson).
