The Senior Timbrel Brigade are one of the most popular sections of the Church family at Boscombe. Regular performances at concerts, festivals and open-air meetings are always greatly appreciated by the audience/congregation. They have also been on the TV, taking part in one of the morning worship services and have also regularly taken part in the London Lord Mayors Show.

The Timbrels comprise of a young group of ladies, who enjoy fun and fellowship and rehearse every week to create routines as a modern form of contemporary worship.

A great response is always recieved from passers by during the summer months, as the Trimbrels perform at the Bandstand in Bournemouth Gardens when featured as part of the Boscombe SA Band Friday night programme.

The Timbrels are lead by Michelle Bowman and the routines they perform are devised by the group as a whole, each member playing an important part. Other occasions where the Timbrels feature are in concert with Boscombe Songsters, Monday night open-air meetings at Bournemouth Pier-head (summer months only), 'Community Praise' meetings, 'A Night to Remember' and others.
