The Home Circle at Boscombe Salvation Army

Boscombe Home Circle (formerly Home League) meet every Thursday in our community hall - contrary to popular belief, men are allowed in, though the make-up of the group is primarily women! The group has four main building blocks: Worship, education, fellowship and service.

Coffee, tea and refreshments are available from 10.30am with the meeting starting at 11am. There is a varied programme of events which include guest speakers, outings, coffee mornings, parties, seasonal topics, members mornings, auctions, quiz mornings and visits to the annual Rally.

The Home Circle Singers sing every week in the meeting and practise every Thursday morning at 9.30am. They are led by Sylvia Mead.

The Home Circle raise money every year for the Territorial Helping Hand scheme which continues to be a success.

On the first Thursday in December each year (at 2pm), we hold our community carol service in the main hall to which everyone is invited. This is becoming a popular event which features the Home Circle Singers and Bournemouth Area Fellowship Band and guest soloists.
