The Art Class (for adults) takes place every Thursday in the community lounge (downstairs) between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Wonderful artwork is created by regular attenders of the Art Class, utilising a variety of mediums. The class is open to everyone with a significant interest in this area but places are limited due to popular demand.
Crafty Ladies is a great opportunity to complete those little tasks you never quite had time for. Bring along that half knitted jumper, that nearly finished needlework, those hand made cards and complete them along with other well-intentioned people! Crafty Ladies takes place every 3rd Wednesday in the month at 7.30pm.
The Ladies Fellowship meets on the first Wednesday of every month and is for ladies of all denominations. The purpose is to enjoy each others company in an informal evening setting, sharing interests, learning new crafts and skills and appreciating the hobbies and efforts of other people. In addition to this, there are also video, skittles and supper evenings. The ladies meet in the community hall (downstairs) at Boscombe Salvation Army at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start and finish at approximately 9.15pm. Boscombe Men’s Fellowship exists to provide an opportunity for men to meet on a regular basis for fellowship and friendship within a Christian environment. It is aimed to achieve a high standard of events that will provide activities for the wide interests for men of all ages. The programme content includes high profile speakers, social events, topical evenings, photographic nights, musical specials, debates, hobbies and much more, plus excursions and an annual dinner! The Monday Club is held on the first Monday of each month at 8.00pm in either the Community Hall or Young Peoples Hall with a monthly subscription of only £1. Come along and enjoy what’s on offer.
POTs (Parents Of Tots)
Our POTs group is held on a weekly basis for those parents of tots who want to share in time together and socialise, not be marginalised. It’s an opportunity to share activities, toys, singing and games with your pre-school toddler or baby. Sessions run weekly during term time every Wednesday. It’s £1 per session per family which includes drinks and morning tea and sessions run from 9.15am – 11.15am.
