Regent Hall Band visit to Boscombe

As the first leg of an enchange visit af bands, Regent Hall Band from London's West End visited Boscombe. The excellent Saturday night festival was both varied, unique and God inspired. Items included vocal, flugel/ trombone and cornet solo's, the band even singing as a whole, not to mention the smoke machine (see image 4). Much choreograhy was included, which even had the trombone section dancing in the Sunday evening meeting!

Cenotaph Remembrance Service 2007

On the 11th November 2007 the annual remembrance service was held at the Cenotaph in Bournemouth gardens to commemorate those who gave their lives in wars and conflicts across the world and the families they left behind. Prayers were also offered for those who are serving currently around the world.

Joint festival at the Octagon Theatre

A festival featuring 2 bands, three sections and lots of music-making. First up was a programme presented by Enfield SA Band, this was followed by our own Boscombe Band. After a 15 minute interval the two bands massed and presented a number of pieces, the climax of which was Glorifico Aeternum.

Boscombe Easter Convention 2007

This year the Easter Convention at Boscombe featured Enfield Citadel Band from London who presented an excellent Saturday evening festival and accompanying the meetings on the Sunday. On the Sunday afternoon both Enfield and Boscombe Bands united with members of Boscombe SA in the annual March of Witness through Bournemouth gardens.

Birmingham Songsters visit Boscombe SA

Birmingham Citadel Songsters make the return weekend visit to Boscombe Salvation Army. The weekend consisted of a Saturday evening festival concert with the Songsters also leading worship on Sunday morning and evening.

Band Reservists Night
