Boscombe
Salvation Army has its own youth group that is open to all young
people over the age of 13. The group embark on a variety of events
from 'nights in' doing various activities such as pool, darts, video
games, DVD's, 'Food Friday's' etc to progressive meals around each
others houses, nights out around town and further afield.
The group also enjoys the opportunity to take part in joint days
out with other Salvation Army youth groups including visits to theme
parks, cinema amongst others. The group also attend national field
days (sports/activities etc.) and nationwide (UK) and Divisional
(regional UK) youth events with live bands and other features.
The group regularly meet up at the Community Lounge opposite Boscombe
Salvation Army Hall on a Friday night, 107 Palmerston Road, Boscombe,
Bournemouth. On Sunday nights the youth take it in turn to meet
round each others homes, the 'Youth House' or another home for food,
fun and fellowship.
