The
young people are an integral part of our Church family at Boscombe.
Led by our Young People's Sergeant Major (YPSM) Julie Forsyth and
assisted by her team of helpers, the young people of Boscombe Salvation
Army are about 40 in number and a wonderfully diverse group of young
people.
The young people meet every Sunday morning at 10.00am in the 'Y.P.
Hall' within the building complex. The Y.P. then join the adults
for the first half of our morning meeting which starts at 11.00am.
The Young People's Corps includes our own Y.P.
Band and Singing Company (junior
choir). The Y.P. Band participate in the first young people's meeting
and both musical sections take part in the first half of the main
meeting before leaving halfway through to continue sharing time
together in YP hall. The 2nd part of 'Sunday Madhouse' includes
doing a variety of activities including drama, music, craft, puppets,
games and more. Teenagers will often leave and head off to the Youth
House across the road for more activities.
